On May 10, 2024, Dr. Seyed Ali Razavi presented a paper at the 9th International Conference on Seismology and Earthquake Engineering (SEE9) on the topic of "Seismic Behavior of the Bracing-to-Box Column Connection Made from Plate in Special Concentric Braced Frame Systems." This paper aimed to investigate the behavior of the plate-made box column face in connection with the brace gusset plate under cyclic forces in a building frame, without additional measures for proper load transfer, and to propose suitable details for bracing connections to box columns. It also aimed to study their finite elements and provide executive details by the construction methods of steel frame structures with box-shaped column sections.
